Environmentally relevant activities

Queensland numbers its regulated activities. An authority names the ones it covers, and carrying one out without an authority is an offence under section 426 of the Environmental Protection Act 1994.

This axis covers a third of the register. 5,751 of the 15,141 authorities carry at least one ERA code. The other 9,390 are resource activities — exploration and mining permits — which the register classifies by industry instead.
